Knowlton Covered Bridge Park
The park borders the Wayne National Forest. My dad brought us here camping in the mid 60's (the area where he grew up). Built in 1887 the bridge is 192 feet long (the second longest covered bridge in Ohio). It is located off SR 26 north of Rinard Mills, Ohio. There is hiking, fishing and a picnic area available. Pictures in this gallery are from the 1960's and 70's. My dad told me stories about fishing off the bridge, and how high the flood waters came when he lived in the area (probably 1938).
