Turkey vultures are carrion eaters. They look for freshly killed animals–usually, leftovers from another predator–and have a feast.
The brown anoles are sit-and-wait foragers surveying the ground from their perches low on tree trunks and rapidly dashing or jumping to the ground to apprehend prey that move within range.
They are capable of compensating for the refraction of water and reflection when hunting prey underwater, and are able to judge depth under water accurately.

Anartia jatrophae, the white peacock, is a species of butterfly found in the southeastern United States, Central America, and throughout much of South America.
Bright orange and black-banded wings make the Halloween Pennant an easy dragonfly to spot. Its festive coloring is similar to many types of butterflies, and its fluttering manner of flight makes it reasonable to mistake it for one at first sight.
