Running With The Devil
Running With The Devil
“Running With The Devil” is a movie that I started in 1987 and is still in progress. The story centers around agent “Ryan Cutter” who’s secret dark past has taken over his life and caused him to repeatedly live a past event over-and-over in his dreams for 23 years. Then, when one of the people in his nightmares who is long thought dead suddenly appears. Ryan knows this is his one chance to resolve the mystery from his past and save what remains of his life.
The idea for the film started in 1987 and is a progression through time. Originally the script called for a 5 year progression through time, but because one of the main characters relocated and was no longer available, I had to start changing things around. Then the actor playing Ryan Cutter relocated as well, and the project started to lose momentum. Hours of video were no longer usable and critical scenes had not been filmed. As a result the continuity of the movie was lost. I continue to work with the film adding scenes to make up for those things missing, and have changed the film to be part narrative flashback rather than a pure progression through time.
Most of the pictures in this gallery are from screen captures from the original 12 hours of video tape.

Taping at the stables
We decided to use the historic Timken Stables again as a great location for our "Vopar" scene.
